Mr. Carl Robinson, 74 of Hamburg, AR died Saturday, August 20, 2011 at Jefferson Regional Medical Center in Pine Bluff, AR. He was a resident of Hamburg, but lived many years of his life in Los Angeles. He was a retired Factory worker, and a member of Bethlehem Church of Christ Holiness of Hamburg. Carl loved to play dominos, checkers, and was very musically inclined.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Eloise “Tiny” Robinson, parents, Jim and Mattie Brandon Robinson, five sister, Elizabeth Colbert, Roxie Cook, Carrie Grayson, Alene Rucker, Beatrice Huggins, six brothers, Alfred, Norris, Leon, Edward, Jim, and Clint Robinson.
He is survived by four sons, Rickey Tippie of Hamburg, AR, Carl Robinson, Jr. of Texas, Joe Carl Robinson of Los Angeles, CA, Shawn Robinson of Los Angeles, CA, one daughter, Earlene Robinson of New York, NY, three step-daughters, Charbonnet Foster of Hamburg, AR, Erica Jackson, husband LaQuinton of Monticello, AR, Tia Smith of Hamburg, AR, two sisters, Ossie Richardson, husband Elum of Hamburg, AR, Fannie Jewel Robinson of Los Angeles, CA, five grandchildren, and a host of other family and loved ones.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 27, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at Bethlehem Church of Christ Holiness with Elder Robert Adams officiating. Visitation will be Friday, August 26, 2011 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Cromwell Funeral Home. Pallbearers are Shawn Robinson, Myron Tucker, Morris Richardson, Joe Carl Robinson, Rickey Robinson, and Lonell Richardson. Burial in Robinson Cemetery in Hamburg, AR under the directions of Cromwell Funeral Home of Hamburg, AR.
