Jessie's parents were Charles Ray Green and Clara Belle (Haynes) Green. Betty Ruth the daughter of Joseph Madison Burkhammer and Geraldine Mary (Hendrix) Burkhammer.
Betty Ruth Green
Betty Ruth Green, 76, of Imboden, passed away Thursday, February 27, 2014 at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House.
Born September 7, 1937 in Paragould, daughter of Joseph Madison and Geraldine Mary Hendrix Burkhammer. She was a retired school bus driver and cook.
She was united in marriage to Jess Willard Green July 17, 1955 who preceded her in death October 4, 1998. She was also preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Marion Burkhammer.
Survivors include children, Marsha Garza (Mario) of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Paul Green of Ravenden, Johnny Green (Kathy) of Imboden, Charles Green of Corona, California, Rose Crawford (Joe) of Imboden, and Emerald Welch (Jerry) of Hardy; siblings, Joyce Birdsong of Hardy, Cloyce Burkhammer of Agnos and Elaine Stoll of Ravenden; grandchildren, Dana Dobbins (Sean) of Cabot, Joey Crawford of Ravenden, Jessie Crawford (Ashley) of Pocahontas, Leslie Green of Imboden, Chrissy Welch of Hardy, Caitlyn Garza and Celine Garza both of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and Megan Welch of Hardy; great grandchildren, Kinley Crawford, Jack Crawford, and Reagan Crawford all of Pocahontas, Maisie Dobbins of Cabot. Many other relatives and friends survive.
Funeral service will be Tuesday, March 4, 2014 at 2:00 P.M. at the Friendship Methodist Church of Bro. John Stoll officiating. Pallbearers will be Joey Crawford, Sean Dobbins, Joe Giles, Tim Giles, Thomas Stoll and Gerald Welch. Honorary pallbearers will be, Anthony Burkhammer, Jonathan Green, Cliff Henry, Davy Lawrence and Bob Tomlinson. Interment will be in the Friendship Cemetery.
Visitation will be Monday, March 3, 2014 at the Bryan Funeral Home at Imboden from 6 till 8 P.M.
