Stormy Nicole Green of Myrtle, Missouri
January 9, 1996 - July 24, 2021

Stormy Nicole (King) Green was born January 9, 1996 in Jonesboro, Ark. Her time on earth came to an end, far before those who loved her were ready, on July 24, 2021 on Eleven Point River.

She married Jordan Green on July 4, 2015 and welcomed motherhood with open arms to stepdaughter Kolbie Jane. She would later give birth to Amiya Marie and Kennedy Grace. She thrived at motherhood and she loved her daughters passionately, fiercely and with everything she had. That came as no surprise to her loved ones; as her parents, grandparents and siblings can attest to, she loved deeply and always wanted to take care of those around her.

Stormy was a beautiful, kind and caring soul. She loved life to its fullest. She loved being on the river and hanging out with her family and friends. She also loved food. One of her favorite things was to go out to a good restaurant and stuff herself until she was “about to pop”. She loved animals … except for llamas. Though she was kind and loving, she had a feisty side that would come out when defending herself or someone she loved.

Her biggest love in the world were her babies. She lived and breathed for those little beauties. Being a mom brought so much joy to Stormy. She loved taking Amiya, Kennedy and Kolbie to the movies, amusement parks, the river, zoo and on many other adventures. She always loved taking the girls horseback riding. Stormy loved horses her entire life and passed that love on to her girls.

Stormy is survived by a large and loving family. Daughters: Amiya Marie Green and Kennedy Grace Green; stepdaughter: Kolbie Jane Green; husband: Jordan Green; mother and stepfather: Shelley and Chris Lhamon; father: Stephen King Jr.; siblings: Morgan (Trevor) Williams, Zathan Lhamon, Brittnei (Hunter) Segraves, Richelle Lhamon, Kristen (Brad) Nunnally, Bethanie (Robert) Burton, Mason King, Brent King (Cassie) and Melody Garrison; grandparents: Lloyd and Linda Gray and Steve and Judy King; aunt Kristi (Chris) Nichols; uncles Sam Gray and Tim King; nieces: Cora, Carlynn, Wrenlee, Kenzlie and Allison; nephews: Zaberian, Braxton and Lincoln; father-in-law Craig (Rhonda) Green; mother-in-law Vickie (Keith) Wiggley; brothers-in-law: Peter Green, Keith Wiggley Jr., Jonathan (Jade) Wiggley, Colin Wiggley and Erich Wiggley; sisters-in-law: Jada Green, Alexis Kennedy, Kyra Green, Kenya (Antwon) Cole and Ashley Wiggley. Stormy is also survived by countless cousins and great aunts and uncles. Special friends who became family: Brent, Donella, Maranda and Makayla Morgan; Brent and Tina Crump; Don Williams and Kathy Ingham and all of the Crumpie's Crew. Stormy has left behind friends too numerous to name and she loved them all.

She is preceded in death by maternal great grandparents: Johnny and Pearl Gray and William and Nannie Farmer; paternal great grandparents Sherman and Adalene Hayes and Glen and Wildean King; uncle Andy King; aunt Tara King and great uncle Randy Gray.

Visitation will be held Thursday, July 29 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Cox Funeral Home in Walnut Ridge. The funeral service will be Friday, July 30, 10 a.m. at Cox Funeral Home in Walnut Ridge. Burial will follow in Old Military Cemetery in Sedgwick under the direction of Cox Funeral Home in Walnut Ridge.

Honored to serve as pallbearers are: Cody Lee, Devin Murphy, Bryar Trevino, Brent King, Jake Mayberry, Brent Morgan, Tyler Gray, Lyn Lee, Curtis Seaman and Brad Orahood. Honorary pallbearers will be Brad Nunnally, Hunter Segraves, Zathan Lhamon, Trevor Williams and Draven Shipp.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Humane Society at 6111 E. Highland Drive in Jonesboro, AR 72401.

It is up to her loved ones left behind to keep Stormy's memories and love alive in Amiya, Kennedy and Kolbie. Although there will be sadness and grief and Stormy's beautiful smile, goofiness and ability to light up any room will be missed; it is important for her loved ones to stay strong for the babies. As we keep the memory of Stormy alive for them; they will provide us with the best pieces of Stormy we all love so much.
