MOUNTAIN VIEW – Donie Jane Mohlke Farris, 93, of Mountain View died Tuesday, Feb. 6, 2001, at a Mountain View hospital.
Born May 18, 1907, in Jamestown, she was the daughter of Christ Mohlke and Minnie Davis Mohlke. She was a homemaker and a member of East Richwoods Baptist Church.
Survivors include three daughters, Reva Morgan and Wanda Morgan, both of Mountain View, and Mary Lois Sexton of Fox; two brothers, Elmer Mohlke and Homer Mohlke, both of Batesville; two sisters, Elzie Mohlke and Lois Mohlke, both of Batesville; 13 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Colman Champion Farris; two brothers; a sister; three grandchildren; a son; and an infant daughter.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Roller-Crouch Chapel in Mountain View with the Rev. Loyd Nesbitt officiating. Burial will be in Flatwoods Cemetey
Pallbearers are Danny Morgan, Jessie Valner, Joey Day, Ray Morgan, Jim Morgan and Glen Morgan.
