G.L. Farris, 80, of Mountain Home, died Thursday, Feb. 3 (2011) at the Gassville Nursing Center. Service will be at 1 p.m. Monday, Feb. 7, at Burns Funeral Home, Yellville. Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 6, at the funeral home. Burial will be at the Farris Cemetery, Onia.
The son of the late General Lee and Ethel (Long) Farris was born March 15, 1930, near Onia. He was the husband of Marie Beck Farris of Mountain Home.
