Obituary - Mrs. Anna White, 86, of Snyder, who was born September 18, 1917, in Vian, OK, died Monday, November 3, 2003, at the Beverly Health Care in Crossett. A resident of Snyder since 1957 and a former resident of Portland, she was a homemaker and a member of the Fellowship Baptist Church.
Survivors include seven sons, Carl White of Hot Springs, Doyle and James White of Crossett, Sammy White of Pensacola, FL, Phillip and Silas White of Hamburg and Don White of Friendswood, TX; a daughter, Anita White of Clearwater, FL; two sisters, Ethel Snow of Beebe and Ruth Roten of Oregon; twelve grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, E. J. White, in 1982 and her parents, Frank and Pearl Burris Yandell.
Funeral services were at 2 p.m. Wednesday, November 5, in the Jones-Hartshorn Funeral Home chapel with Rev. Philip Bowles officiating. Pallbearers were her sons, Carl, Doyle, James, Sammy, Phillip, Silas and Don White. Burial followed services at the Snyder Cemetery.
