Mr. Jackie DeWayne White, 54, of Montrose, AR died Friday, August 16, 2019, at his home in Montrose. He was lifelong resident of Montrose, a log truck driver, and a member of Evergreen Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his father, Lee Otis White; and one brother, Theofice White. Jackie enjoyed reading his Bible, fishing, and carrying his mother to garage sales. He had a love for all children.
He is survived by his wife, Cynthia Watson-White; one daughter, Virginia White, of Kansas City, MO; his mother, Faither White, of Montrose, AR; three brothers, Robert White, of Montrose, AR Willie White and Otis White(Dorothy), both of Detroit, MI; three sisters, Evelyn Webb, of Russellville, AR, Katherine Briggs, of Maumelle, AR, and Mary Ann White, of Pasadena, CA; one granddaughter, Macy Rogers; and a host of nieces, nephews, other family, and friends.
Service will be Saturday, August 24, 2019, 3:30 p.m., at Cromwell Funeral Home, Inc., 600 East St. Louis Hamburg, AR, with Rev. Walter Witherspoon officiating. Active Pallbearers are Tony Hill, Grelean Thomas, Davis Morris, Shawn Barbee, Phillip Williams, and Ray Lee Holmes. Honorary Pallbearers are Larry Bawcom, Willie Sanders, Otis White, Willie Lee White, Robert White, Robert Johnson, Lawrence
Vaughn, Johnny Watson, Issaac Watson, and Larry Woods. Burial in Evergreen Cemetery in Boydell, AR.
