Kenneth Paul Wiles of Sage, Arkansas
Kenneth Paul Wiles, son of the late Paul Wiles and Mamie Wammack Wiles, was born December 10, 1933 in Sage, Arkansas. He departed this life March 7, 2013 in Sage, Arkansas at the age of 79 years, 2 months and 25 days. He spent his life as a son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, soldier and friend. During his working years, he worked as a coach, teacher, and superintendent in our area, including Violet Hill, Norfork and Oxford. He served in the United States Army during the Korean War. He was of the Baptist faith and a member of Midway Baptist Church in Melbourne.
He is survived by one son and daughter-in-law: Kevin and Jill Wiles of Melbourne; three grandchildren: Kelby Wiles, Karrigan Wiles and Kennedi Wiles all of Melbourne; two step grandchildren: Alexa Passmore of Fifty-Six and Russell Thompson of Melbourne and a host of other relatives and many good friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife: Sue Weaver Wiles and one sister: Millagene Campbell.
Funeral service will be Saturday, March 9, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at Midway Baptist Church. Burial will be at LaCrosse Cemetery under the direction of Eddie's Family Funeral Home in Melbourne. Visitation will be Friday, March 8 from 6-8 p.m.
Memorials may be made to: Jair Munoz Ministries and Miracle Village, P.O. Box 890, Melbourne, Arkansas 72556.
Pallbearers: Lindle Blevins, Tom Cone, Paul Weaver, Tom Bailey, Gary Blankenship and Mike Weaver.
