Emogene McCosh Moore, age 87, died Tuesday September 27, 2011 in Searcy Arkansas. She was born Monday, September 8, 1924 in Letona, Arkansas to Zeb McCosh and Mayme Higgins. She was married to Wesley Clinton Moore for 55 years prior to his death in 1994.
She is survived by her two children, Carolyn Frances Moore Roetzel Koch (Tommy) of Paris, Arkansas, James Clinton Moore (Clara) of Searcy, two grandsons, Bobby Darrel Roetzel (Susan) of Searcy, David Wayne Moore of Searcy, two granddaughters, Melissa Renee Roetzel of Ozark, and Cynthia Ann Roetzel Willhite of Fort Carson, Colorado, 8 step grandchildren, six great grandchildren, Carrie LeAnn Roetzel Curtis of Conway, Robert Aaron Roetzel of Searcy, Kimberly Renee Roetzel of Clarksville, Matthew Luke Roetzel of Searcy, and Nikita Dawn Roetzel of Ozark, Brianna Paige Schulte of Fort Carson, Colorado, brothers Tom (Marie) McCosh of Little Rock, Harry (Mary) McCosh of Texas, Eddie (Norma) McCosh of Pangburn, L.V. (Dean) McCosh of Letona, three sisters-in-law, Betty Jackson, Mary Moore, and Eva Bell, all of Searcy and a host of nephews, nieces, and grands that are too numerous to mention but are thought of.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and sister, Geneva Huffman, brothers Clayton McCosh, Bill McCosh and Hershel McCosh, all of Letona.
Visitation will be 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Thursday September 29, 2011 at Roller-Daniel Funeral Home in Searcy. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Friday September 30, 2011 in the Chapel of Roller-Daniel Funeral Home with interment following the service at Mt. Pisgah Cemetery near Letona.
