John Hall Dennis, aged 69 of Emerson died Wednesday in a Magnolia hospital. He was the father of Virgil Dennis of Camden. Other survivors include his widow; four daughters, Mrs. Mabel Waller, Mrs. Faye Waller, of Emerson, Mrs. Francis Walz of Jackson, Michigan, Mrs. Mary Warren of Fort Worth, Texas; another son, Eugene Dennis of Emerson; one sister; Mrs. Beulah Smyth of Waldo; thirteen grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Friday at 10:30 a.m. at the First Baptist Church of Emerson with burial in Presbyterian Memorial Cemetery. Lewis Funeral Home of Magnolia is in charge of arrangements.
