June 2, 1931 - April 20, 2002
Mrs. Billie King Pierce, 70, of Blytheville, died Monday, April 29, 2002, at the Baptist Hospital in Blytheville. A native of Lincoln County, Oklahoma; a resident of Blytheville for the past 20 years and for many years a resident of the Snyder community outside Hamburg, she was a homemaker and a Baptist. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Gilbert King Sr., in 1979 & Carlton Pierce in 1989; a son, Kenneth King; her parents, Bill & Veda Mae Rowe Reynolds; two brothers, Jim & Dan Reynolds and two sisters, Ruby Forrest & Evelyn McMahand.
She is survived by two sons, Warren King of Little Rock and Rodger King of Branson, MO; two daughters, Teresa Snively of Tucson, AZ, and Stormy Hendee of Blytheville; two sisters, Ilene Hanard of Newport, and Jessie Mitchell of Forrest City; 17 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
Grave-side funeral services and burial were at 1 p.m., Wednesday, May 1, in the Snyder Cemetery with Rev. Lane Amos officiating. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Jones Funeral Home of Hamburg.
