MELBOURNE – Ronald Leroy Morgan, 45, of Melbourne died Thursday, Feb. 3, 2005, near Broken Bow, Okla.
Born Nov. 19, 1959, at Decatur, Ill., he was the son of Darrell Morgan and Eleanor Gideion. He was self-employed as a master stucco plasterer. He was a member of Ruthie Mountain Volunteer Fire Department and Mount Olive Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include his father of Melbourne; his mother of Springfield, Mo.; three brothers, Doland James Morgan of Evansville, Ill., Michael Williams of Mount Olive and Chuck Gideion of Illinois; and two sisters, Annilea Drake of Champaign, Ill., and Patricia Gideion of Illinois.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Tom Gideion; his grandparents, Clarence and Gladys Morgan and Stanley and Ruth Dailey; his step-grandfather, Ivor E. Beel; and two uncles, Ronald Lee Morgan and Phillip James Slover.
The memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Mount Olive Cumberland Presbyterian Church with Jeff Sanders officiating. Burial will be in Mount Olive Cemetery under the direction of Eddie's Family Funeral Home in Melbourne.
Honorary pallbearers are Dale Parker, Ronnie Mooney, Shane Tillman, Charlie Wade, Jay Radtka, Ed Runion, John Fair and Charlie Davis.
