MELBOURNE — Anna Faye Stephens Cooper, 80, of Melbourne died Saturday, Aug. 9, 2008, in Mountain Home.
Born Oct. 28, 1927, in Elizabeth, she was the daughter of Henry and Violet Clifton Stephens. She was united in marriage to Bill Cooper on July 4, 1946, in Melbourne. She was a homemaker and a member of Millcrest Church of Christ.
Survivors include her husband of 62 years; two sons, Tony Cooper and Calvin Cooper, both of Melbourne; a daughter, Crystal Jackson of Batesville; four brothers, Conrad Stephens of Washington, Raymond Stephens of Brockwell, Travis Stephens of Wichita, Kan., and Bernard Stephens of Calico Rock; a sister, Willa Mae Hall of West Plains, Mo.; 10 grandchildren, Brooke Cooper, Billy Cooper, Madi Sue Cooper, Drake Cooper, Natalie Cooper, Ty Cooper, Maggie Caraway, Blake Caraway, Amanda McErlean and Jeffery Post; two great-grandchildren, Tara McErlean and Jacob Post; a step-grandson, Thomas Johnson; and a step-great-granddaughter, Gracie Johnson.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Melvin Stephens; two sisters, Lillian Hunt and an infant; and a daughter, Sherry Cooper-Post.
Graveside services were at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Old Philadelphia Cemetery in Larkin. Arrangements were by Eddie's Family Funeral Home in Melbourne.
Pallbearers were Jim Stephens, Blake Caraway, Tom Johnson, Brad Wheelis, Mark Herrington and Casey Jackson.
Honorary pallbearers were Billy Cooper, Drake Cooper, Ty Cooper, Jeffery Post, Kirk Miller, Toby Smith and the members of Millcrest Church of Christ.
Memorials may be made to Old Philadelphia Cemetery or Millcrest Church of Christ.
