Helen Maxine Griffin, 89, of Summers, Arkansas, died April 14, 2011, at Siloam Springs Memorial Hospital, Siloam Springs, Arkansas. Born September 10, 1921 in Cincinnati, Arkansas, she was the daughter, of Joseph Newton Lamons and Freddie Jane Jackson Lamons. She was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church, Siloam Springs. Helen married Sam Griffin on August 26, 1944, in Siloam Springs, Arkansas.
Survivors include her husband Sam of the home; one son, Sammy Griffin of Siloam Springs, Arkansas; three granddaughters; one great granddaughter; and one great grandson; one sister, Ruth Smith of Midland, Texas and two nieces. Funeral services Tuesday, April 19, 2011, at 10:00 a.m., at Wasson Memorial Chapel, Siloam Springs, with Mr. Larry Ellis officiating. Burial in Oak Hill Cemetery, Siloam Springs.
