George Griffin
George Armsterd Griffin, 80, a lifetime resident of Siloam Springs, died Sept. 10, 1992 at Siloam Springs Memorial Hospital.
He was born May 22, 1912 in Watts, Okla. to Sam Griffin and Clora Kornagey.
He married Beatrice Phillips on Sept. 18, 1934 in Siloam, Springs. Mr. Griffin had been a farmer all his life. He was affiliated with the First Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Bea Griffin, of Siloam Springs; three daughters, Aileen Griffin, Joann Todd and Helen Lacy, all of Siloam Springs; a sister, Tina Guthery, of Neosho, Mo.; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Backstrom-Pyeatte Chapel in Siloam Springs.
Burial will be at Oak Hill Cemetery in Siloam Springs, by the Rev. Glen Schmuker.

SILOAM SPRINGS — Beatrice Eldora Griffin, 89, of Siloam Springs died July 11, 2000, at Siloam Springs Memorial Hospital.
She was born May 27, 1911, in Ponca City, Okla., to Bert and Lula Quier Phillips.
She was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church in Siloam Springs.
Her husband, George Griffin, preceded her in death in 1992.
Survivors Include one son, Burton Dale Griffin of West Siloam Springs, Okla.; three daughters, Jo Ann Todd, Helen Lacy and Alleen Grifrin, all of Siloam Springs; one brother, Bill Phillips of Siloam Springs; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; one stepgreat-grandchild.
Services will be at 10 a.m. today at First Baptist Church in Siloam Springs with Dr. Steve Abbott and Harold Thornton officiating.
Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery under the direction of Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Home in Siloam Springs.
