Olive Rains
Olive Lee Rains, 76, of Gravette, died Thursday, Jan. 14, at the Gravette Medical Center.
She was born April 18, 1916, at Rush Springs, Okla., to Samuel Cox and Cora A. McCloskey Cox. She was a homemaker and a Presbyterian. She moved to Arkansas in 1968 from Colorado and to the Maysville community in 1975. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Tillman Rains in 1987.
Survivors are a son, Roy L. Rains of Orofino, Idaho; a daughter, Pat Sperry of Maysville; a brother, Glen Cox of Oklahoma City; a sister, Marie Mayes of Marlow, Okla.; and five grandchildren.
Funeral service is set for 2 p.m. Monday at Maysville Bible Church with Bill Smith officiating. Burial is to be in Maysville Cemetery. Visitation is set for 6-8 p.m. today at Callison-Lough Funeral Home in Gravette. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital, 505 N. Parkway, Box 3704, Memphis, Tenn., 38173-0704.
