MRS. BEULAH ROGERS
Mrs. Beulah Ophelia Rogers, 83, 406 N. Tenth, Rogers, died July 1 in a Fort Smith hospital. Born July 30, 1891, near Union City, Mo., she was reared near Winslow, a member of Weslyan Methodist Church and moved to Rogers from Depew, Okla., in 1946. She was a life member of Depew Order of Eastern Star and the widow of Elizah Rogers who died Jan. 28, 1950.
Survivors include two sons, Douglas G. Rogers, Rogers, and Robert G. Rogers, Orange, Calif.; five daughters, Mrs. Bonnie E. Mitchell, Rogers, Mrs. Mabel Irene Steedlin and Mrs. Marianne Bland, Siloam Springs, Mrs. Alma Roberta Reniker, Tulare, Calif., and Mrs. Elizabeth De Graff, San Diego, Calif.; one brother, J. Dovel Moore, Claremore, Okla.; three sisters, Mrs. Bessie Rogers, Bristow, Okla., Mrs. Blanche Roff, Los Angeles, Calif., and Mrs. Hazel Christian, North Hollywood, Calif.; 24 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Friday at 10:30 a.m. in Burns Chapel, Rogers, with the Rev. Joe Phillippe officiating. Burial will be in Rogers Cemetery under the direction of Burns.
