LAWSON H. ENNIS
Lawson H. Ennis, 81, Gentry, died Feb. 23 in Siloam Springs Memorial Hospital. Born Jan. 30, 1896 in Arkansas, he was the son of Daniel and Catherine Ennis Ennis, and was a retired Baptist minister and a farmer. A resident of the area most of his life, he was veteran of World War I and a member of Victory Missionary Baptist Church.
Survivors include one son, Henry Doyle Ennis, Del Norte, Calif.; one daughter, Mrs. Loy Ellen Chambers, Pueblo, Colo.; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Saturday at 2 p.m. in the memorial chapel of Wasson Funeral Home, Siloam Springs, with the Rev. Ted Dorton officiating. Burial will be in Springtown Cemetery under the direction of Wasson.

MRS. MARTHA E. ENNIS
Mrs. Martha E. Ennis, 74, Gentry, died Dec. 12 in Gravette Medical Center. Born April 14, 1902, at Springtown, she was the daughter of Joe and Hannah Garrett Ellington, a lifetime resident of the area and a member of the Missionary Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Lawson Ennis of the home; one son, Henry D. Ennis, Del Norte, Colo.; one daughter, Mrs. Loy (Ellen) Chambers, Pueblo, Colo.; one sister, Mrs. C.C. Acuff, Siloam Springs; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Wasson Funeral Home, Siloam Springs, with the Rev. Ted Dorton officiating. Burial will be in Springtown Cemetery under the direction of Wasson.
