VERNON, James Casvill - James Casvill Vernon died at his home north of Siloam Springs, Ark. Aug. 11th at 8:10 p.m., 1921, age 64 years, 7 months. He was born near Fayetteville, Ark. and was married to Effie Peice {sic}, Oct. 26, 1876. To this union eight children were born. His wife, one daughter and three sons preceded him. He was again married July 30, 1919 to Mrs. Eva Kirk of Gentry, Ark. He leaves besides his faithful wife, one son, three daughters, one step-daughter, seven grandchildren, two step-granddaughters, one brother, three sisters and a host of friends. At the time of his death he belonged to no church but was a faithful christian. The funeral was held from the Baptist church at Springtown, Ark., conducted by Eld. J.L. Chastain. The remains were laid to rest by the side of his son and daughter in the Springtown cemetery. Contributed.
