VERNON, Tenney T. - Mrs. Tenney T. Vernon, who has been keeping house for Mal Rodgers for some time, died last Wednesday, May 5th, following a short siege of pneumonia, aged 63 years. Mrs. Vernon was a sister of Mrs. Lichlyter of Cottage Grove and Mrs. True of Mason Valley. Funeral was conducted by Rev. Scroggins of Decatur and interment occurred at Springtown, whence the body was escorted by Peoples Hdwe. undertakers. Mrs. Vernon leaves many friends who will join the bereaved relatives in their grief.

EVANS, Lizzie Ethel COFFELT - Lizzie Ethel Coffelt was born near Fayetteville, Ark. April 30, 1878, departed this life Oct. 29, 1917 at the age of 39 years, 5 months and 29 days. She was married to Lee Evans in the year of 1895. To this union was born twelve children, all left to mourn their loss. She professed hope in Christ 19 years ago and held on to God till the last, always striving to do God's will. She leaves to mourn her a father, mother, two sisters and husband and children besides other relatives and friends.
