ROBERT "BOB" HOLLAND
Robert Arthur "Bob" Holland, 84, Rt. 1, Gentry, died Feb. 4 at his son's house in Highfill. Born Dec. 16,1893, in Benton County, he was the son of Ree L. and Cora Penny Holland. He was a charter member and officer of United Methodist Church in Highfill, World War I veteran, member of American Legion, retired cattleman and lifetime resident of Highfill.
Survivors include one son, Wilbur Lee Holland of Highfill; two daughters, Mrs. Roberta Whorton of Walpole, N.H., and Mrs. Bonnie Keeling of Rogers; one sister, Mrs. Lena Rife of Highfill; nine grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in United Methodist Church in Highfill, with the Rev. Luther N. Keeling, the Rev. Steve Brizzi and the Rev. James J. Whorton officiating. Burial will be in Springtown Cemetery under direction of Wasson Funeral Home of Siloam Springs.
