FLETCHER, A.B. - A.B. Fletcher died Sunday, February 17th at his home on West Poplar street at the age of 83 years, three months and sixteen days. Funeral services were held at the residence Monday morning at ten o'clock and were conducted by Rev. Lucke of the First M.E. church, interment being in the Rogers cemetery. Mr. Fletcher had been a resident of Rogers for many years and was a very familiar figure on our streets. He was a veteran of the Civil War, having served in Co. C, 11th Cavalry in the Union army through the war. He was born in Illinois November 1, 1840. He was married to Nancy Gregg September 6, 1868 and to them were born eight children, five of whom are living - Robert, Henry and Fred, Mrs. A.H. Truax and Mrs. Fred Coe. The mother died in 1906. Mr. Fletcher was married to Mrs. Sarah Lyons September 3, 1906 who survives him.

FLETCHER, Mrs. A.F. - Mrs. A.F. Fletcher died last Wednesday afternoon at her home in this city, west of the Academy, and the funeral was held the following day. She was fifty-five years old and leaves a husband and eight children.
