Mrs. Mamie Alberta Beasley, age 76, of El Dorado, died Sunday, June 17, at Union Medical Center in El Dorado. She was the daughter of John Wesley and Olivia Stuart Joiner, and was born in Dallas County, July 27, 1902. She was a housewife and a member of Immanuel Baptist Church in El Dorado. Survivors include her husband, Macon Beasley of El Dorado; a daughter, Charlene Burns of El Dorado; a brother, Nolen Joiner of Crossett; and two grandchildren. Funeral services were 2 p.m. Monday, June 18, at Frazer's Chapel of the Chimes with Rev. Tommy Kimball officiating. Organist was Mrs. Janice Sullivan. Burial was in Oakland Cemetery by Frazer's Funeral Home. Pallbearers were Leonard Lewis, Bob Rogers, A.V. Beebe, Max Rogers, Ray Wood, and Dale Taylor. -- From the Eagle Democrat, Warren, AR, dated June 20, 1979
