Macon Boyce Beasley, age 82 of El Dorado, died Thursday, December 8 at Warner Brown Hospital in El Dorado. He was a son of William Shelby and Ira Lou Hickman Beasley, and was born in Bradley County, October 9, 1901.

Mr. Beasley was a retired employee of McMillan Oil Company and a member of Immanuel Baptist Church of El Dorado. He was the widower of Mamie Alberta Beasley who died June 17, 1979.

Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Charlene Burns of El Dorado, two sisters, Mrs. Alice Rodgers and Mrs. Jeanette Baker, both of Hermitage, two grandchildren, and three great grandchildren.

The funeral service was held Friday, December 9, at Frazer's Chapel of the Chimes with Rev. Tommy Kimball officiating. Organist was Mrs. Janice Sullivan and soloist was Gary Glasgow. Burial was in Oakland Cemetery by Frazer's Funeral Home.
