Edith Mosier
Edith May Lessing Mosier, 84, of Fayetteville, died Sunday, March 28, at Fayetteville Nursing Center.
She was born Feb. 15, 1909, at Houston, Texas, to W.C. Lessing and Alice Monroe Lessing. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Siloam Springs, and the Siloam Springs Fireman's Auxiliary. A graduate of St. John's School of Nursing, Tulsa, Okla., she worked as a nurses supervisor from 1956-1974 at Siloam Springs Memorial Hospital. Her husband, Clifford Mosier, died in 1971.
Survivors are a son, Clifford Mosier Jr. of Fayetteville; two daughters, Carolyn Rosio of West Fork and Thelma Tarver of Fayetteville; a sister, Alice Cain of Broken Arrow, Okla.; 10 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral is set for 11 a.m. today at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Siloam Springs. Burial is to be in Oak Hill Cemetery with the Rev. William Moran officiating under direction of Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Home, Siloam Springs. Memorials may be made to St. Mary's Catholic Church.
