Wednesday at Bradley County Medical Center at Warren.
He was born March 20, 1929, in Bradley County, a son of the late Carl Ragar and Letha Sanders Ragar.
He was a Baptist.
He was a retired salesman for Borden Milk Company.
Survivors include his wife, Betty Cooper Ragar, whom he married on June 22, 1949; two sons, Jim Ragar of Hot Springs and Bob Ragar of Louisville, Ky.; one daughter, Marilyn Raymer of Sherwood; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Frazer's Funeral Home of Warren. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery.
