William C. Hodge
SPRINGDALE — William Carroll Hodge, 86, of Springdale died March 14, 1996, at Northwest Medical Center in Springdale. He was born May 15, 1909, at LaDonna, Texas, to George William and Holly Gazzle Smith Hodge. He moved to the area in 1964 from Vincennes, Ind. He owned and operated a horse ranch and was a member of the American Appaloosa Association and the First Christian Church of Springdale. He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen G. Hodge, in 1979 and five brothers.
Survivors include one brother, Frank M. Hodge of Burkburnett, Texas; one sister, Lucille Lewallen of Springdale; several nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday at Sisco Chapel in Springdale with the Rev. Keith Marinus officiating. Burial will be in Friendship Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Jason Parker, Josh Parker, Timothy Lewallen, Aubry Sikes, Jimmy Jackson and Sean Adams. Honorary pallbearers will be Jeremy Parker, Henry Hodge, Frank Hodge, Gene Hodge, Clark Hodge and Tim Lewallen.
Memorials may be made to the First Christian Church playground project, 2120 W. Emma Ave., Springdale 72764.
