Hattie - February 12, 1899 - March 8, 1969
Mrs. Hattie Beatrice Mays, 70 of 513 Poplar St., died Saturday afternoon in a local hospital. She has been a resident of Camden for the past thirty seven years. Mrs. Mays is survived by her husband, Henry Lee Mays; one sister, Mrs. Frank Lipton of Little Rock; two brothers, George F. Brown and L. F. Brown of Little Rock and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Proctor's Chapel, with burial in Greenwood Cemetery. (Camden News - March 10, 1969)
