August 10, 1887 - February 3, 1969
Mrs. Carrie B. Watson, 81, former Camden resident, died Monday in a nursing home at El Dorado. Mrs. Watson who was well known here, was the widow of Dr. E. L. Watson. She was born August 10, 1887 near Rosston, the daughter of John and Summer D. Mixon Blake. She made her home in Camden from 1891 until 1965 when she moved to El Dorado. She was a Methodist. Mrs. Watson is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Joe (Nancy) McElroy of El Dorado; one grandson and one great grandson. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Proctor's Chapel. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery. (Camden News - February 4, 1969)
