Wiley Harrison Watson the son of William Henry Watson and Etta Josephine (Whitmire) Watson; Lorene's parents were Dan McGonigal and Mary Ella (Johnson) McGonigal.

CABOT -- Wiley Watson, 80 of Cabot, formerly of Hoxie, died Sunday, Dec. 29, at Rebsamen Memorial Hospital in Jacksonville.

Arrangements will be announced by House-Gregg Funeral Home of Walnut Ridge.

Lorene Watson

Lorene Watson, 86, of Cabot, formerly of Hoxie, died Dec. 17, 2012, at Baptist Hospital in North Little Rock.

Born March 8, 1926, in Alicia, she was the daughter of Dan and Mary Johnson McGonigal. She had lived in Cabot the past 15 years. She was a homemaker and a member of the Cornerstone Baptist Church in Cabot.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Wiley Watson, in 2002.

Survivors include a daughter, Janice Watson Henry and husband Randall, Lebanon, Tenn.; two sons, Wiley Norris Watson and wife Laura, Tucson, Ariz., and William Danny Watson and wife Jimmye Carol, Cabot; eight grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.

Funeral is Thursday at 1 p.m. at House-Gregg Funeral Home with Robert Davis and Dale Bonner officiating. Burial will be in Strangers Home Cemetery.

Grandsons and great-grandsons will serve as pallbearers.

Visitation will be Thursday, one hour prior to the service.
