Prairie Grove — Mrs. Annie P. Abshier, 71, of Lincoln died in a Fayetteville hospital this morning. She was born Nov. 10, 1893 at West Fork and was a member of the Holiness Church.

Survivors include her husband, Cleburn of the home; two sons, Orval of Carthage, Mo. and John of Lincoln; one daughter, Mrs. Marcella Guess of Fayetteville; two brothers, Seth Shanks or Farmington and Bob Shanks of Brea, Calif.; five sisters, Mrs. Mary Abshier of Whittier, Calif., Mrs. Kallie Timmons of Baldwin Park, Calif., Mrs. Ellen Walker of Lubbock, Tex., Mrs. Gladys Clements and Miss Alta Shanks both of Lincoln and nine grandchildren.

Arrangements will be announced by the Luginbuel Funeral Home.

Prairie Grove — Eddie Cleburne Abshier, 87, of Lincoln, died Saturday in a Fayetteville hospital. Born Dec. 11, 1886 in Prairie Grove, the son of Joel W. and Dlaipha Hardesty Abshier, he was a member of the Holiness Church.

He is survived by two sons, Orville of Manteca, Calif., and John of Lincoln; one daughter, Mrs. Marcella Guess of West Fork; 12 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the Luginbuel Chapel with burial in the Scott Cemetery.
