Richard G. Kelley of Berryville, Arkansas was born December 16, 1935 to William Sherman and Mabel (Ash) Kelley in Clifty, Arkansas. He passed away January 5, 2021 in Berryville at the age of 85.
He went to work at a young age for farmers in the Eureka Springs area, he then moved to California and worked moving houses for seventeen years. Richard then moved back to Arkansas and worked as a carpenter until retirement. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, and also a member of Eureka Springs Freewill Baptist Church.
Richard was united in marriage to Doris (Blundon) Kelley who survives him of the home. He is also survived by his son James C. Kelley and wife Darlene; daughter Darla Parker and husband Darren; nine grandchildren Becky, Michael Luke, Sarah, Matt Kelley, Ryan Wilson, Nicole Ankele, Ravin and Eli Cheely; ten great grandchildren; sisters Dorothy Comer, Carolyn Baugh; along with several nieces, nephews, other family members, and friends.
Richard was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers James Kelley, Daniel Kelley, Vester Kelley; two sons Gary Kelley, Vance Kelley.
Memorial service will be held at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Shop, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or Gideons International, PO Box 362, Berryville, AR 72616.
