Violet A. Simmons
SPRINGDALE— Violet Annabell Simmons, 86, of Springdale died Aug. 20, 2004, in Springdale. She was born Feb 6, 1918, in Fayetteville to Houston Harvey and Rosa Gertrude Nickells Cate. She was a homemaker and a beautician. She married Theodore R. "Bill" Simmons on Nov. 19, 1952. She was preceded in death by her husband.
Survivors include a brother, Charles Otis Cate of Springdale; eight nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Forest Park Cemetery with the Rev. Jim Featherston officiating. Arrangements are by Slsco Funeral Chapel in Springdale.
Visitation will be from noon to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
