Louise Shepherd, 77 of Van Buren died Friday, December 22, 1995 in a Fort Smith hospital. She was a retired saleslady for Sears and Roebuck and was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Van Buren and Talking Leaves Chapter of Daughters of the American Revolution.
She was survived by her husband, Garthel; a daughter, Sue Justice of Alma; a son, George Edward Shepherd of Muskegon, Mich.; six grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
Garthel Shepherd, 82, of Fort Smith died Sunday, August 30, 1998 in a nursing home.
He was a retired engineer from Kaiser Steel Railroad and of the Presbyterian faith. He was survived by one daughter, Sue Justice of Van Buren; one son, George E. Shepherd of Muskegon, Mich; one brother, Laverne Shepherd of Ontario, Calif; six grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
