WALTER HOWARD SR.
Walter Howard, 423 Birnie Avenue, was informed Tuesday of the death of his father, Water Howard Sr., who was visiting another son, Oscar, in Phoenix, Arizona. He died at noon Tuesday.
The body will be returned to Fort Smith for funeral service but arrangements were incomplete Tuesday night.
Other survivors include two daughters, Mrs. W. A. George, 2006 North fifteenth Street and Mrs. W. A. Payne, 2115 Dodson Avenue; and two sons, Chester and Abner Howard both of Fort Smith.
