December 18, 1879 - May 10, 1947
Mrs. Violar Bryant, aged 65 years, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Christine Robertson, Saturday afternoon. She is survived by one sone, J. E. Carpenter of Waterloo, Arkansas; two daughters, Mrs. Christine Robertson of Camden and Mrs. Bessie Henderson of College Hill, Arkansas. Funeral services were held at the Mathis Chapel at 2 p.m. Sunday, with Rev. T. L. Harris of the First Baptist Church officiating. Burial in Greenwood Cemetery with Mathis Funeral Home in charge.
