SPRINGDALE — Bobby Wade Kendrick, 74, of Springdale died Feb. 4, 2006, at his home. He was born Nov. 24, 1931, in Springdale to Elmer Wade and Bessie Lucille Kendrick.

He was a member of the Hickory Creek Baptist Church and was retired from American Airlines after 35 years of service. He was an Air Force veteran and served in the Korean War. He was a licensed amateur radio operator, "W5MKY" in the MARS Network.

He was preceded in death by his father and first wife, Vivian Webb Kendrick.

Survivors include his wife, Juanita Pauline Kendrick of the home; his mother, Bessie Lucille Kendrick of Springdale; four children, Daryl Kendrick and wife Judy of Fayetteville, David Kendrick and wife Doris of Piedmont, Okla., Duane Kendrick and wife Karen of Blanchard, Okla., and Dawn Phillips and husband Ed of Collinsville, Okla.; one sister, Vera Lou DeSalvo of Springdale; two stepchildren, Larry Joe Gammel of Claremore, Okla., and Paula Su Traut of Beeville, Texas; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Wilson Cemetery in Springdale. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Sisco Funeral Chapel in Springdale.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Circle of Life Hospice, 901 Jones Road, Springdale, 72762.
