LYON, Etta - Miss Etta Lyon died Friday, December 5th after a lingering illness at the home of her sister, Mrs. Pollock, 315 West Chestnut street. Funeral services were held at the Pollock residence Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock and were conducted by Rev. T.E. McSpadden of the Presbyterian church. Burial was in the Rogers cemetery. The deceased was 33 years old and most of her life was spent in Rogers although she had been in Kansas City for a number of years prior to her illness, which was the result of tuberculosis. She had been here with Mrs. Pollock for a number of months. She is survived by her mother, Mrs. Hattie Lyon; two sisters, Mrs. Pollock and Mrs. Mollie Hutchinson, and three brothers, Jim, Will and Arthur Lyon, all of Rogers.
