Well Known Citizen of Oxford Passes Away
William J. Moss 78, citizen of Oxford the greater part of his life, died at his home at that place Wednesday night of last week. He was a member of the Methodist Church. Surviving, are his wife; two sons, Ewell Moss of Pratt, Kansas and Orlie Moss of Oxford; three daughters, Mrs. Verda Burns of Anderson, Ind., Mrs. Mary Hays of Wynnewood, Okla., and Mrs. Hazel Turner of Wheeling, Ark. Funeral services were conducted at the Oxford Methodist Church Friday, with Rev R. E. Lee of Cave City officiating. Burial was in the Oxford Cemetery.
