PUCKETT, Sarah - Mrs. Bud Puckett, a pioneer resident of Benton county, died the first of the week at the State Hospital at Little Rock where she had been for several years. Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Eaves, the latter a daughter of Mrs. Puckett, went to Little Rock to accompany the body home and will arrive with it today. We have not learned the funeral arrangements. Mrs. Puckett is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Eaves and Mrs. Harry Kelly, and two sons, Cole and Smith Puckett, and was also a relative of J.W. and Hugh Puckett of Rogers.

(from Prairie Creek) Our hearts were made sad by the death of Mrs. Sarah Puckett, wife of the late Bud Puckett. Mrs. Puckett had been in poor health for a number of years and been in a hospital in Little Rock for some time. Mrs. Puckett was a resident of this community for years and was always ready to assist in sickness, death or wherever she was needed. Another good Christian woman gone and her acts of kindness will be remembered in the hearts of the people who knew her for years to come. She leaves two sons, Smith and Coleman Puckett; three daughters, Mrs. Anna Barnes of Columbus, Kansas, Mrs. Sina Eaves and Mrs. Mary Kelley, both of Rogers. We extend our sympathy to the children.
