Viola M. Tate
LINCOLN — Viola Marie Tate, 81, of Lincoln died April 21, 2006, in Fayetteville. She was born Feb. 25, 1925, at Pittsburg, Kan, to John Ephraim and Mary Myrtle Little Jackson. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Lincoln. She married Homer Tate on Oct. 27, 1946. She was the office manager of Luginbuel Funeral Home in Prairie Grove for more that 45 years. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Mary Frances Tate.
Survivors include her husband of the home; a son, David Tate and wife Marilyn of Elkins; a daughter, Linda Munyon and husband John of Morrow; a brother, Roy Jackson; four grandchildren; one great-grandson.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Luginbuel Funeral Chapel in Prairie Grove with the Rev. Dan Wooley officiating, online at www.luginbuel.com. Burial will be in the Prairie Grove Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Rick Clayton, Aubrey Kinion, Nathan Mefford, Roy Lee Jackson, Gary Tate and Stacy Luginbuel.
Honorary pallbearers will be Michael Munyon, Jared Munyon, Rusty Tate, Justin Tate and Austin Munyon.
Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. at the funeral home.
