Tuesday, January 24, 1928
James J. Graham, 60 years old, died Tuesday morning at his home east of Lowell and the funeral was held yesterday afternoon at 2:30 at the home, burial being in the Phillips cemetery near Springdale. Mr. Graham was born in Benton county and practically all of his life was spent here. While serving on the federal grand jury at Fort Smith several weeks ago he was stricken with apoplexy and had been in a serious condition since then. He was one of the best known farmers in the east side of Benton county and had a very large circle of friends in Rogers who regret deeply to learn of his untimely death. Mr. Graham is survived by his wife and eight children one daughter, Mrs. Hugh Brumm of Monett, and seven sons - Elbert, Albert, Carl, Orville and Ray of near Lowell, Rafe Graham of Springfield, Robert Graham of Texarkana.

GRAHAM, James G. - James G. Graham, 60 years old, farmer, died Tuesday morning at his home near Lowell as the result of several attacks of apoplexy, the last having occurred two weeks ago while serving on the grand jury at Fort Smith. He was a native of this county, the father of a large family of sons and daughters, all of whom live in this section, one of whom is Elbert Graham, prominent fruit grower of near Lowell. These, together with his widow, survive him. The funeral was held Wednesday with burial in the Phillips cemetery near Springdale.

GRAHAM, James J. - James J. Graham, well known farmer and stockman, died at his home east of Lowell Tuesday, January 24, 1928 at an advanced age. Death followed a severe stroke of apoplexy last week from which he gradually grew weaker. Mr. Graham lived nearly his entire life near the place where he resided at the time of his death. He is survived by his widow, seven sons: Elbert, Carl, Albert and Ray Graham of Lowell neighborhood; Robert Graham of Texarkana and Raff Graham of Springfield, Mo.{only six named}; also by one daughter, Mrs. Hugh Brumm of Monett. He is also survived by three brothers.
