Paul Vaughn, 72, of Fayetteville died Dec. 31, 1994, at Springdale Memorial Hospital. He was born June 30, 1922, at Pea Ridge, to William Thomas and Lula Mae Schell Vaughn. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II and was trained in electrical engineering in Los Angeles. He was the owner and operator of KESM Radio and Vaughn Radio and TV in Eldorado Springs, Mo., for many years, and of several Radio Shack stores in Northwest Arkansas. He was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church in Fayetteville. He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Effie Vaughn Carden, and a grandson, Glenn Armory Vaughn in 1985.

Survivors include his wife, Wanda Jean Brown Vaughn of Fayetteville; three sons, David Michael Vaughn, Craig Kentley Vaughn and Eric Randall Vaughn, all of Fayetteville; a daughter, Avis Gayle Vaughn Ruge of Fayetteville; a son-in-law, Kenneth Robin Ruge; two daughters-in-law, Karen Paula Fritz Vaughn and Dee Ann Hale Vaughn; his mother-in-law, Winnie Crabtree Brown; one sister, Esther Hall of Pea Ridge; six grandchildren.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Sisco Funeral Home Chapel in Pea Ridge with the Rev. Don Eubanks officiating. Burial will be in the Pea Ridge Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. today at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, Inez White - Chairman, 2105 S.E. 18th St., Bentonville, 72712.

FAYETTEVILLE — Jean Vaughn, 86, of Fayetteville, died Tuesday, March 20, 2012, in Fayetteville. She was born March 25, 1925, in Pea Ridge, Ark., the daughter of Edwin "Doc" Brown and Winnie Crabtree.

She was a Methodist, and with her husband, Paul, who preceded her in death in 1994, owned and operated local Radio Shacks. She also owned and operated Craft World-Tandy Leather.

Survivors include three sons, David Vaughn of Fayetteville, Craig Vaughn of Fayetteville, Eric Vaughn of Goshen; daughter, Avis Ruge of Fayetteville; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 9 a.m. Saturday until service time.

Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Saturday, March 24, 2012, at Moore's Chapel. Burial will follow in Pea Ridge Cemetery under the direction of Moore's Chapel.
