Linn Curtis Washam, age 65, of Mayflower, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, May 6, 2006.
He was born January 27, 1941, in Mayflower, to the late Payton and Lois Washam. He was preceded in death by his wife of 41 years, Barbara Graddy Washam, three sisters, Kathryn Washam Yant, Marilyn Washam and Linda Washam.
He is survived by his wife, Cora Ackerson Washam of Mayflower; a daughter, Kelly Washam Coffman and husband Chris; three grandchildren, Christopher Caleb Coffman, Joshua Payton Coffman and Anna Grace Coffman, all of Conway; two brothers, Bill Washam and wife Doris, Rodger Washam and wife Mary Jo, of Mayflower; five sisters, Wanda Washam Thompson and husband George of North Little Rock, Shirley Washam, Becky Washam Naylor and husband Ricky, Beverly Washam Wheeler and husband James, Betsy Washam Caudle and husband Michael, all of Mayflower.
Linn enjoyed his family and friends, especially his grandchildren. He was a lifelong resident of Mayflower and a member of Mayflower United Methodist Church. He was a former mayor of Mayflower, a retired driver of Exxon Mobile and the owner and operator of LCJ Farms in Mayflower. He was also a 32nd degree mason at the Green Grove Lodge in Conway.
