January 19, 1905 - July 19, 1971
When Carl William York and his twin brother Samuel Harrell were born on January 19, 1905, in Harve Township, Arkansas, their father, Coleman, was 37, and their mother, Fannie, was 34. He married Katie Jewel Davis on December 22, 1934, in Faulkner Township, Arkansas. They had one child during their marriage. He died on July 19, 1971, in North Little Rock, Arkansas, at the age of 66, and was buried in Mayflower, Arkansas.
