Buryl Russell York, 57, of Conway, passed away Sunday, October 14, 2007. Born August 17, 1950, in Mayflower, he was a minister & missionary to Africa.
He is survived by his son, Russell Devin O’Neal York of Conway, daughter, Rusti Barger & husband David of Quitman & five grandchildren, Sarah Ashlee, David Lane, Savannah Arin, Duncan Lee, & Sameah Annalynn, a legacy in which he took great joy & pride. He is also survived by his mother Vivian Evelyn Eileen Booher York of Mayflower, step mother Margaret York of Mayflower, five brothers Richard & wife Billy of Conway, Ray & wife Carrie, Ed & wife Wanda, Leo & wife Sharon & Joe & wife Lilly, all of Mayflower & a step sister, Janet Branscum & husband Les of Mayflower.
He was preceded in death by his father, Carl Justin York.
Pallbearers were Devin York, Ed York, Leo York, Rick York, Eddy York, & Steve York. Honorary pallbearers are Richard York, Ray York, & Joe York.
