CRAWFORD, Sarah Jane - Mrs. Sarah Jane Crawford died at her home near Healing Springs on Sunday, June 29th, 1924. It was the 44th anniversary of her wedding, being married to J.H. Crawford on June 29th, 1880. Mrs. Crawford was born September 18th, 1863 and is survived by eleven children, six boys and five girls, all of whom were present during her last hours excepting three who live in Texas who were unable to come. She was converted to Christianity in 1910 and lived the remainder of her life a devoted Christian. She was faithful as a companion, as a mother and as a neighbor. Her last testimony was that all was well and the future bright. Funeral services were conducted at the Mission in Cave Springs, Rev. W.B. Brogan officiating. Interment was made in the Cave Springs cemetery.
