Rogers -- Miles H. Wishon, 84, died in Rogers Memorial Hospital Thursday. A resident of Route 4, Rogers he was born Feb. 26, 1883 in Rogers. He was a member of Wesleyan Methodist Church and a retired farmer.

He is survived by three sons, Guy of Rogers, Alfred of Garfield and Wayne of Wichita, Kan.; six daughters, Mrs. Alton Butler of Casa Grande, Ariz., Mrs. Dan Kirkland of Belle Glade, Fla., Mrs. Mark Legg, of Wichita, Mrs. Warren Price, Mrs. Pierce Barnell and Mrs. Pilson Walker, all of Rogers; one sister, Mrs. L.A. Hopper of Rogers; 47 grandchildren, 57 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were scheduled this afternoon at Callison Chapel with burial in Reddick Cemetery.

Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Wishon, 89, Rogers, died June 21 in Rogers Memorial Hospital. Born Sept. 21, 1886, in Arkansas, she was the daughter of Bill and Martha Hyden Bishop and a member of the Methodist Church.

Survivors include three sons, Walter Wishon, Siloam Springs, Alfred Wishon, Hiwasse, and Guy Wishon, South Haven, Mich.; six daughters, Mrs. Ruth Varnell, Mrs. Elva Walker and Mrs. Pearl Stokes, Rogers, Mrs. Martha Butler, Casa Grande, Ariz., Mrs. Leona Legg, Fort Worth, Tex., and Mrs. Nora Kirkland, Belle Glade, Fla.; several grandchildren, great and great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in the chapel of Callison Funeral Home, Rogers, with the Rev. W.E. Bland officiating. Burial will be in Reddick Cemetery, Garfield, under the direction of Callison.
