ROGERS — Max Wishon, age 82, of Rogers, passed away April 26, 2011, at Northwest Medical Center in Bentonville. He was born Dec. 28, 1928, in Jasper, Ark., to the late Arthur and Nancy (Valines) Wishon.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Jessie Alice Wishon; a daughter, Darlene Wishon; a son, Larry Wishon; a grandchild, Leslie Robinson.
He is survived by his children, Mike, Randy, Raymond, and Melvin Wishon, Tina Farley, Lana Ledbetter, Coleta Paris, and Lisa Crawford; a sister, Reba Hambling of Rogers; 17 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter.
Visitation will be held at Benton County Funeral Home, 306 N. Fourth St., Rogers, today, April 28, 2011, from 6 to 8 p.m.
Services will held at the funeral home on Friday at 10 a.m., with Gary Thomas officiating. Burial will be at Ruddick Cemetery in Garfield.
Arrangements are under the care of Benton County Funeral home of downtown Rogers.

ROGERS — Jessie "Alice" Wishon, 72, of Rogers died Jan. 12, 2007, at Rogers. She was born May 10, 1934, in Rogers to Raymond Stroud and Cora Adams White Stroud. She was a homemaker and a Baptist.
She was preceded in death by two children, Darlene Wishon and Larry Wishon, and a grandchild, Leslie Robinson.
Survivors include her husband of 57 years, Max Earl Wishon of the home, whom she married May 8, 1949; children, Mike Wishon, Raymond Wishon, Lana Ledbetter, Coleta Paris, Randy Wishon, Melvin Wishon and Tina Wishon, all of Rogers; 17 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Benton County Funeral Home in Rogers, online at www.bentoncountyfuneralhome.com. The Rev. Larry Taylor will officiate.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Ruddick Cemetery near Garfield.
Pallbearers will be Mike Ledbetter, Deric Subbert, Everett Lee Thompson, Jeremy Ruttan, Wayne Tarver and Bobby Ledbetter.
