74 OF HER 96 YEARS SPENT IN ARKANSAS
SARAH FOSTER BOYD Mrs. Sarah Foster Boyd, aged 96, resident of Arkansas since 1870, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Lula Jacklin, 1205 West 34th street, Thursday afternoon. She was born at Spartenburg, S.C. in 1847. Other survivors include two sons, James F. Boyd of Little Rock and Dr. A.L. Boyd of West Memphis; 23 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and 8 great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted by the Rev. F.E. James at the Griffin-Leggett chapel at 3 p.m. Friday. Active pallbearers will be: W.R. Dwyer, A.J. Hightower, Cpl. Fred Smith Jr., and A.B. Rogers. Burial will be at Oakland cemetery.
